The Swift Microwave
Warts are notoriously difficult lesions to treat evidence by the myriad of treatment methods that have been employed over the years. One of the major reasons many wart treatments fall short is because they approach the problem from the surface level and have difficulty getting at the root. Swift is if different. Swift uses microwaves to penetrate deep (4-5 mm) without damaging the overlying skin. Since there is no damage to the skin there is no lengthy recovery in-between each treatment. The microwaves heat up the wart infected tissue leading to a stress response triggering the immune system.
What to expect
Swift treatments usually require a total of 2-4 sessions spaced one month apart consisting of five 2 second microwave bursts per lesion per session. The overall treatment usually takes longer than 10 minutes. While a mild amount of pain may be experienced during treatment patient will need no bandages, no aftercare instructions and no increased pain.
