Raised in Houston Texas, Dr. Correa attended Friendswood High School and graduated in 2003. He then went on the attend the University of North Texas where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Spanish. After college Dr. Correa moved to North Chicago Illinois where he attended William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2008. Here Dr. Correa began years of rigorous medical training designed to create a "patient first" treatment approach. During his time there he served on the Honor Council and graduated with honors in 2012.
Dr. Correa returned home to Houston for a three year residency at West Houston Medical Center where he received training in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle (RRA) surgery from 2012-2015. While in residency Dr. Correa received training from some of the brightest podiatrist in Texas. During his time at West Houston Dr. Correa served the anatomy lab coordinator and as Chief resident in his final year. Since graduating Dr. Correa has sat for and passed his board certification exams granting him the status of Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Correa is also a proud member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Immediately following residency he started his practice with Brazos Valley Foot Care in August 2015 where he served the communities of Brenham, College Station, Bryan, Bellville, Columbus, Giddings, and La Grange TX (Yes, all at the same time). Dr. Correa enjoyed immersing himself in and serving these communities. He moved back to Houston in 2019 when his wife, Jasia accepted a position at Texas Children’s Hospital as a Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Specialists and eventually founded her own practice Well Women Physical Therapy. Shortly after settling into Cypress, Dr. Correa founded Select Foot and Ankle Specialists, P.L.L.C. and is pleased to now be serving the greater Cypress and northern Katy area.
Dr. Correa is married to his wife, Jasia with and is father to their three children Chloe, Anastasia and Mariela. The rest of his family still resides in the greater Houston area. When Dr. Correa is not busy taking care of patients he enjoys playing golf, shooting sports, playing drums, wood working, and spending time with his family in his spare time.
Board Certifications: Dr. Correa is board certified in both Foot Surgery and in Reconstructive / Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
Memberships: American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medical Association Activities: Participated in Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation's Mission Trip to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico 2014. Provided surgical correction of deformities and served as equipment manager. Provided basic podiatric medical treatment to outlying villages.

Gabrielle (Gabby) Ruiz is a bilingual native Houstonian who comes to us with 10 years of medical assisting experience and 8 years of surgical tech experience. She has an upbeat, outgoing and bubbly personality and is excited to come to work every day and participate in patient care. Gabby is a big fan of multiple sports including baseball, basketball, football and boxing and her hobbies include fishing, cooking and rooting for her son’s football team. We are excited to have Gabby on the Select Foot and Ankle Specialists team!
Priscilla Pinto

Priscilla is a bilingual mother of two who was born and raised in Houston Texas. She comes to us with a strong passion for helping people and animals. During her free time she likes to be outdoors spending time with her family and doing something active! We are thankful to have Priscilla on the Select Foot and Ankle Specialists team!
